The boys both went out for Track this year and they have competed quite well. These medals are all from Spring 2014 track meets. They both compete in High Jump and Pole Vaulting. They run in a few events too but I can't keep track. Most of their medals are in the field events. Both boys made the all conference team. This was a big deal for Jack as he had to beat out 8th graders in order to compete. He pole vaulted 8 feet and jumped 5'0 in high jump to qualify. Beau is so excited to pole vault in the competition next week. He hopes to make 9ft this go around. Most of the meets are during the school day which stinks for us parents as Mike and I have both been working but honestly they are a little boring and long unless your kid is performing. Julie is now playing goalie in soccer and has done a fantastic job. Hope everyone has a great weekend. Just wanted to update you on what we have been up to. Beau doesn't know how many medals he got this year but he likes to show off all his medals!! Do they give a trophy to every one these days??? JK he really did work hard for these over the last 14 years.
