The kids are using their creative skills this summer by making their own volleyball net and trampoline basketball hoop! It's amazing what you can accomplish when you put your mind to something. We had all of this STUFF around the house to construct these two outdoor fun creations. It reminds me that recycling things is so important and if you want something bad enough sometimes you have to think outside the box.
Coverage, I mean.
With all the recent storms in Tulsa, many businesses are getting reacquainted with their insurance policies. They may be discovering some of the numerous standard exclusions in most policies. Specifically, the power outages have wreaked havoc on the ability to stay open and certainly cost thousands in lost inventory with freezers and other systems being down for so long. This is why you need a competent independent agent who can review your policy and you will at least be aware of what is and is not covered. Call today to set up an appointment. Beau and I had a great striper fishing trip to Texoma. Many thanks to Shawn, owner of Crosswinds Guide Service, we will definitely visit him again!! The purpose of the weekend was to complete Passport to Purity curriculum with Beau since he is growing into a young man so fast. Great memories and I highly recommend both!! Already ate some of the fish and it is great. The Kitchen - Where do I start? We replaced the tile floor with wood floors first. The laminate counters were replaced with solid white quartz and the sunflower tile was replaced with super white clear and frosted glass tiles. We continued the tile up and around the window for a more uniform look. The quartz turns down the side to the floor for a more modern look. We painted the existing cabinets restoration hardware gray and replaced the pulls with brushed nickel long bars. The vent hood was replaced as well as the heavy cast iron sink. I chose a Blanco gray single sink and I LOVE it! The color matched my color scheme perfect and it is so east to use and keep clean. I bought a brushed nickel single handle sprayer that pulls down from Home Depot. I still need to have a cabinet made to cover the hole from the old trash compactor but this kitchen has seen a make over for sure!
The kids had a blast at New Life Ranch last week. We are thankful for the Godly wisdom and instruction they were provided. Sounds like they had a lot of fun. We plan to go back next year - it was a great experience.
Your insurance policy is a LEGAL contract between a "named insured" and an insurance company. The Constitution is a LEGAL document which our government was founded upon and provides the checks and balances we enjoy between three branches of government. Would you want your insurance company to change the rules or policies after you've signed and agreed to the contract? No? Me either. Similarly I don't agree with one branch changing the rules of a policy without following legal process. Recent events have highlighted just that with the delay of implementation of parts of the AHCA. Regardless of your stance of the contents in the Act, you should be concerned the way things are being altered without following our tried and true processes. OK, it's a fishing picture, I know. This time of year I get to enjoy some extra family time and when we can, we like to go fishing!! If you remember from my earlier series on the Four Rs of insurance, #4 is "Rest Easy" which I think is the most important. So, after a great weekend celebrating the Fourth, I hope you were able to rest, relax, and enjoy life. If not, then get your Rs taken care of!! Great day playing bingo with my Grandma Del Jansen at the county picnic and visiting my mom's mother Grandma Haselhorst just before dinner.
