Oklahoma Worker's Compensation Reform

6/24/2013

Oklahoma’s SB 1062 seems, like its
native son Woody Guthrie, "bound for glory." Although the worker’ compensation
reform bill still awaits review by the state Supreme Court, that is not stopping
legions of fans from voicing their support and making blue sky predictions.  Read More

Who would have thought...

6/18/2013

Can you believe this was the scene outside an insurance agency with employees' cars parked during the daily business hours???  Immediately after it happened everyone asked "who pays?".  Since the tree was full of leaves and had NO sign of disease or damage, the following applied:

A tree owner may be held liable for injuries caused by the defective
condition of a  tree only if the tree owner has actual or
constructive knowledge
of the tree’s defective condition.  In other
words, if the tree owner had knowledge the tree was rotten, dead, or had any
other condition that created a risk that the tree could fall the tree owner could be held liable.

Bottom Line: each owner's auto policy would pay per policy limits.  Have questions about your coverage?? Give me a call!!

REMODEL - THE BAR

6/14/2013

Renovation -  Although my new bar looks amazing some might say the previous owner had a little more fun than I.  We chose to raise the floor and remove the carpet off the sides underneath by filling it in with concrete.  Next we painted the cabinets Restoration Hardware grey.  It's not really a color in their palate but look at their sack and you have my color!  We replaced all the hardware with brushed nickel bars.  The new stainless steel sink has a chrome faucet I ordered online and I love!  The countertop is white quartz by Hans thanks to my friends at Permastone Granite in Keifer.   Backsplash is super white glass tiles frosted and clear laid horizontal.

Hope you get a chance to come over and celebrate with us some day!

Praise the Lord!!
